Colin Farrell fought to have his version of the Penguin smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022), but was unsuccessful

With the exception of the bat signal in the final shot of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson appearance in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where the hell was Batman? For his own series, however, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user, with a preference for cigars.

The Penguin is just awesome

Wow. Everyone knows what a great actor Colin Farrell is, but he is unrecognizable as the Penguin. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him nominated for a few awards for his role in this movie.

I was wrong

The biggest surprise was Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. I wasn’t too sure when I heard she was nominated for actress for this role, she is a good actress but I didn’t think this role was for her. She is just as good as Farrell in this movie and makes you believe that Sofia Falcone is a true rival to the Penguin.

I also wouldn’t be surprised to see him nominated for a few awards for his role in this movie. This is not your typical DC or Marvel series, this is a full blown gangster series. This series is set in the underworld of a now half destroyed Gotham City and is a great follow up to Matt Reeves’ Batman.
